I'm Hotaru Tomoe. Now that Wooly is in our world, he needs to find a new role for his life. Since he's a smart sheep, he simply can't have a normal job, like working in an office. I ask Michiru-mama if she can't find him a role in a children's show. After all, that was his role with Amanda. Michiru-mama does have contact with studios, but it's for her violin concerts, not for TV shows. I beg her to find something.
"It's all right, Hotaru-chan. Don't worry about me."
"But Wooly-kun, you can't spend the rest of your life hiding here in our house!"
"Michiru, Setsuna and I will try to find something." Haruka said. "I promise."
"Oh, Haruka-papa! THANK YOU!"
Days go by. Setsuna tells Wooly that a new children's show, Cute Akko-chan, is in production.
"The producers are looking for a partner, a companion for Akko-chan, and they're holding auditions for the role."
"That's great!" I said. "Wooly-kun, you have to go!"
"I... I'm not sure that's a good idea." He says, his ears lowered.
His ears move with his emotions. Wooly lowers them when he's embarrassed, nervous or scared.
"Come on, this is your chance, Wooly-kun! Do it for me."
Despite his embarrassment, Wooly says he'll go. I hug him.
The next day, Wooly auditioned.
"I don't know if I'm going to be chosen. I was so nervous!"
"You must have hope." I said.
"Hope... I don't know that emotion. Can you explain it to me, Hotaru-chan?"
Two weeks pass and the auditions’ result for Akko-chan's companion is announced. Wooly's got the part! His eyes shine with joy and, not knowing how to react, he rolls his body on the floor. It makes me laugh.
"Wooly-kun!" Michiru said. "Stop, you'll get your wool dirty!"
"Oh, I'm sorry." He says as he stops rolling on the floor. "But I'm so happy! I'm sure Amanda is proud of me."
As he says this, he looks up to the sky. I invite him to pray for Amanda and we pray together. In any case, I can't wait for the first episode of Cute Akko-chan.
